When people and trees live together, some level of risk is inherent. It takes years of experience and training to accurately determine the extent of that risk. Our ISA Certified Arborists and Certified Tree Risk Assessors provide tree owners with information regarding their safety. We possess the experience and specialized equipment to assess the risk potential of your tree and provide you with recommendations for managing that risk. There are many ways to mediate tree risk without removing your tree including pruning, cabling, soil improvement and nutrition, and insect and disease management. When a tree is determined to be of unacceptable risk or otherwise unwanted, we have the experience and equipment to remove your tree safely.
When an exact measurement of tree risk is necessary, we operate specialized tools, such as the IML Resistograph, to measure the interal decay of trees. Many trees have significant internal decay without having outwardly visible cavities. In these situations, we can use the resistograph to get an exact reading and make a highly informed decision about a tree’s potential to fail.
